Includes interviews with Elijah Muhammed of the Black Muslims; Daniel Watts, editor of  Liberator magazine; Jimmy Garrett from the Congress of Racial Equality; Fannie Lou Hamer, one of the founders of the Mississippi Freedom Democratic Party; John Lewis, the co-founder, and Julian Bond of the Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee; Andrew Young of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference; and Bill Epton, candidate from the Progressive Labor Party.
