Summary
[videorecording] Portrays the horrors of war: its devastation of home, family, and community as seen through the eyes of children. Innocent victims of military persecution, children from El Salvador and Nicaragua create a portrait of their world through their artwork and narrative comments. The simplicity and naivete of their drawings contrast sharply with the violence and destruction they depict. Relying completely on these childrens' illustrations and descriptive accounts, this program starkly conveys the tragedies that mar their young lives--violence, brutal massacres, and terrifying escapes to refugee areas.
