Summary
[motion picture] Examines the rural exodus in Andalusia, Spain, and its effect on family life by focusing on the family of a migrant laborer who works in Germany.  Depicts the children's relationship to their grandfather and their mother in the absence of the father.  Portrays the concerns of the father over his social networks, his present foreign experiences, and his plans for the future since, ultimately, he must decide whether to move his family to a factory town at the expense of leaving his father behind in the village. Spanish lyrics and the English translations of songs recorded on this film are available upon request.
