Summary
Contrasts the new and the old in India and Pakistan, and emphasizes the important differences between Moslem ad Hindu nations and cultures.  Shows a typical family engaging in their daily activities.  Points out that though castes have been abolished by law, custom changes slowly.  Increasing industrialization is shown, and the dependence of the land on the rains is emphasized.
