- A short interview with American Muralist Ralph Gilbert is captured in his studio. Gilbert describes his work to complete his commission by Indiana University to create an inspirational cycle of murals as a visual highlight of the Lilly Library 2020-2021 full-scale renovation. Gilbert is a figurative, narrative painter, draughtsman and muralist with a studio in Atlanta, Georgia. He studied at the Chouinard Art Institute (now the California Institute of the Arts) in Los Angeles and received his Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara. In 2005 Gilbert was awarded the Edwin Austin Abbey Memorial Fund Fellowship in mural painting at the National Academy of Design in New York. This video was produced by Ben Bowden Lee of Kennesaw, GA
