Through slow motion and stop motion photography and close-ups of game shots, the film shows the fundamentals of basketball shooting, concentrating on the set-shot. Stance, the action of the throw, aim, trajectory, and finger-tip control are demonstrated. Special attention is given to the fine coordination of all parts of the body required for accurate shooting.
This film was made as a promotion for the Swine Flu Immunization Program of 1976, and can be useful as a tool for study of governmental public relations.

Hubert C. Heffner was a Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Speech, Theatre, and Dramatic Literature at Indiana University. In addition to his teaching responsibilities within the Dept. of Speech and Theatre, Heffner was acting director of the Indiana University Theatre from 1959-60 and 1970-71, and he was involved with the Indiana Theatre Circle. He retired in 1971 but continued as an occasional guest lecturer at IUB until his death in 1985. Audiovisual materials in Heffner's papers consists of "The Nature of Drama" recordings produced by Indiana University Television and the Department of Theatre and Drama.
Professor Heffner discusses the ways in which comedy contrasts with tragedy, and its definition in its own right, as well as some context and scholarly thought on the aspects of comedy.
The Poynter Center for the Study of Ethics & American Institutions was an endowed ethics research center established in 1972 at Indiana University Bloomington. Through its programming, the Poynter Center addressed bioethics, religion, political ethics, research ethics, professional and educational ethics, technology, and many other areas. Initiatives over the years included courses such as "The Citizen and the News," supported by the Ford Foundation, which began in the fall of 1975 and studied the institutions that produce news and information about public affairs in America.
