- Video bio of Norman Cox, inducted to Indiana Broadcast Pioneers Hall of Fame in 2018; Norman Cox began as the Indiana Statehouse reporter in 1976 in Indianapolis for WRTV-TV. He covered seven governors from Otis Bowen to Mike Pence before retiring in November 2013. A two-time Emmy award winner, Cox also received awards for excellence from the Associated Press, United Press International, Society of Professional Journalists and the Indianapolis Press Club. He graduated from The Ohio State University with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in journalism.
