An offscreen male narrator talks about how workers in many jobs learn that they should stay out of sight and not contribute much in order to stay out of trouble, but 3M encourages employee collaboration and input. The ad concludes with the man being asked for his input on a project, at which point he stops camouflaging himself and begins collaborating. One of the winners of the 1971 Clio Awards.
